For selective isolation and culture of Vibrio vulnificus.
Peptone, beef powder provide nitrogen, vitamins and growth factors; sodium chloride to maintain osmotic equilibrium; cellobiose to fermentable sugars; polymyxin B and polymyxin E can inhibit Vibrio parahaemolyticus and growth alginolyticus and other non-target organisms; and bromine thymol blue and cresol red as a pH indicator; agar as a medium coagulant.

How to use?
1. Suspend 50.08g in 1L of distilled water, stirring heated to boiling to completely dissolve, autoclave at 121? for 15 minutes.
2. Diluted and treated samples.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed, store in a cool, dry place, away from bright light. Storage period of 3 years.
